Based in Berkeley, California, Edu-Culture International coordinates high-quality study abroad tours. ECI also works in conjunction with AGI, our non-profit organization. With representatives also in Europe & Costa Rica, we are dedicated to promoting language learning and intercultural understanding between young people throughout the world.

ECI’s staff and volunteers are highly trained professionals with a background in education who have successfully organized educational travel programs in Spain, France, Costa Rica & the US for the past decade.

- Meticulously planning each excursion and activity
- Choosing only the most qualified leaders to travel abroad with our students, most of whom are experienced high school foreign language teachers
- Carefully screening host families
- Continually revising and updating our study programs
- Continually seeking out and organizing hands-on and unique cultural activities to enrich each itinerary
- Ensuring that all types of housing, including hotels and residences, meet the needs of our students
- Always being available for students, teachers, parents and host families
ECI’s Unique Approach to Language Learning – Our Key Study Program Components We Are Most Proud of:
- Host Families: an exciting approach to true language and cultural immersion!. An amazing opportunity to live life as an American or European teenager!
- Hands-on Cultural Activities in the US: You could find yourself involved in an American dance class, baking Chocolate Brownies, or learning a typically American sport, such as baseball.
The aim of these activities is to improve your speaking skills and to learn about American culture in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
