Improve your English and learn about American culture!
What better way to improve your English than to spend two weeks taking part in a group program, enjoying a variety of excursions and living with a family. Every day you will be immersed in the language, and you will be amazed at how fluent you become! In order to reinforce what you learn with your family and during excursions, there will also be a series of Language and Culture activities, led by native speakers.
Workshops*
Our workshops have a practical focus and will not necessarily be classroom based.
You could find yourself involved in an American dance class, baking Chocolate Brownies, or learning a typically American sport, such as baseball.
The aim of these activities is to improve your oral skills and to learn about American culture in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Study Visits*
Study visits have a strong educational focus, and usually involve visits to place of educational interest.
Study visits could include excursions to a local police station, a San Francisco museum, Berkeley University or Alcatraz Island.
