Meet and Greet Service
Making your own travel arrangements
If your only flight option is one that arrives and/or departs in the US at an inconvenient hour for the host family, ECI is happy to provide a Meet and Greet Service.
* For arrivals in the US before 9am or after 9pm: €95
* For departures from the US before 11am or after 10pm: €95
An ECI representative will meet your son or daughter at the airport or any other designated arrival place. Prior to your child’s departure, ECI will provide you with all necessary contact information, phone numbers, and a detailed meeting place and time. Once we have met your child, we will take him/her to meet the host family. Rest assured that someone will meet your child and make sure that he/she gets to their host family. Remember that airline schedules are always subject to change.

San Francisco Bay Area Group Program Fees:
Fees include:
- Round trip airfare from *Madrid, Paris or Munich
- All transportation abroad
- All accommodations
- All group activities, excursions & admissions
- All meals during Homestay, two meals per day during optional Los Angeles trip
- Three full-time chaperones per group of 30 students
*Students enrolled in our programs are automatically included in the group airfare. Parents must inform ECI in writing if they are arranging separate airfare to/from the US. €800 is deducted from the program fee for those arranging separate airfare. Meet and Greet service is available for students traveling independently.
Fees do not include:
- **Airline taxes and fees (such as any applicable fuel surcharges)
- Spending money
- Optional activities, if applicable
- Lunches during Los Angeles optional trip
- Optional Cancellation / Interruption Travel Insurance Plan
- Medical insurance / Emergency Assistance Insurance / Travel Delay Protection / Baggage Delay or Loss Coverage
** These taxes and fees are currently estimated to be in the region of €370 depending on the airline and the country of departure.
Meet and Greet Service:
Making your own travel arrangements.
Participants may choose to depart from a different gateway city than the main group’s gateway city, as well as choose different flights, dates, etc., and they are responsible for making their own flight arrangements. For those participants, €800 is deducted from the program fee. Participants who choose this option are also responsible for making their own arrangements to meet up with the chaperones and group at the initial meeting place unless, they choose our Meet and Greet Service, which carries an additional fee of €95 minimum per direction.
With the Meet and Greet Service, an ECI representative will meet your son or daughter at the airport or any other designated arrival place. Prior to your child’s departure, ECI will provide you with all necessary contact information, phone numbers, and a detailed meeting place and time. Once we have met your child, we will take him/her to meet the main group. Rest assured that someone will meet your child and make sure that he/she gets to the right place. The Meet and Greet is also available for the return trip, and we highly recommend it in both directions if your child is not traveling with the group. Remember that airline schedules are always subject to change.
